1. This procedure establishes the procedure and conditions for organizing, conducting and compiling a program of study visits (hereinafter referred to as visits) to the Government House 1 of the Republic of Armenia (address: Yerevan, Republic Square, Government House 1).
2. Visits are organized to ensure the publicity of the activities of the Prime Minister's Office and to ensure the public's access to the Government House 1 building as an immovable monument of history and culture of the city of Yerevan, for familiarization purposes.
3. Visits are organized by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Prime Minister's Office, if necessary, in cooperation with other divisions of the Prime Minister's Office.
2. ORGANIZATION AND CONDUCT OF VISITS
4. Visits may be organized, as a rule, for groups and collectives of up to 15 people from educational institutions (pupils and students above elementary grades), and other organizations, based on written applications submitted by the heads of the relevant organizations.
5. Applications are addressed to the Chief of the Prime Minister's Staff, in paper form or through the online e-request application system, or by e-mail to press@gov.am, at least two weeks before the date of the visit planned by the applicant.
6. The application must include the list of visitors with their personal data (name, surname, date of birth), as well as the contact phone number of the group leader, indicating the e-mail address. The list must also include a copy of the group leader’s passport or identification card, the original of which the group leader presents to the security officer at the checkpoint upon entering the administrative building.
7. Permission to organize a visit is granted by the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister or his/her deputy, upon the proposal of the Head of the Information and Public Relations Department and with the consent of the Prime Minister’s Protocol Officer.
8. The visit may be rejected if it is deemed inappropriate due to workload or other circumstances. In the event of refusal to organize the visit, the reason for the refusal and a possible alternative day and time for organizing the visit shall be indicated.
9. Visits are organized on working days and hours and may last no more than 1 hour.
10. The visit is carried out in accordance with the procedure of security and pass regime established in the Government House 1 building. During the visit, participants are not allowed to have electrical equipment, telephones with them, as well as to carry out video and photo recording of the building and meetings.
3. PROGRAM OF THE STUDY VISIT
11. Visitors enter the administrative building through a non-main entrance checkpoint, upon presentation of the general list certified by the Deputy Chief of Staff, and are accompanied to the press center, where they are presented with the program and objectives of the visit, and the rules of conduct in the building are explained: maintaining silence, not separating from the group, and not disrupting the normal work of the staff.
12. After the press center, the group visits the Government Session Hall, the Large Hall of Consultations and Receptions, the Small Reception Hall, the New Small Reception Hall, the Large Session Hall, the Office of the Prime Minister's Staff, as well as the room leading to the clock of Government House 1.
13. The visitors are introduced to the activities and structure of the Prime Minister’s Staff, and media material depicting the history, activities, and achievements of the government is shown.
14. Then, the visitors have a meeting of about 15 minutes with the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister or one of his deputies, and in the absence of such an opportunity, with the head of one of the structural divisions of the staff. The speaker, presenting the activities of the Prime Minister’s Staff, touches upon the issues of interest to the given group as much as possible.
15. The visit ends with a group photo near the flags placed in the foyer of the building, which is then provided to the group leader. The visits are covered by the Information and Public Relations Department, as appropriate.
