Chief of General Staff of RA Armed Forces: Edvard Asryan

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia is a State body operating in the sphere of management of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, which develops and implements the Government’s policy in the field of defense.

The General Staff is the central military management entity in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, which is directly responsible for the exercise of the functions vested in the Armed Forces.
